As Forest Gump so aptly put it, "My momma always said, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

Marketing can be exactly like that, ESPECIALLY on the Internet.

Forest also said, "I'm not a smart man... but I know what love is."

The love of Forest's life, Jenny, said, "Dear God, make me a bird.  So I could fly far, far, far away from here.

Ever felt like this?

Ever felt like you were blindfolded and standing totally alone and vulnerable in front of a large crowd as you anticipate, consider, plan, and implement your ‘Internet box of chocolates?'

Don't worry, and don't feel all alone.  We all feel the same way...

We look high and low for the Answer.  We're stridently trying to uncover people who are the real deal and can be trusted.  We are honestly trying to get it right...

[So we tend to want to listen to anyone who seems to have all the answers.]

But then most of us fall right into their sucker punch and WHAM - we've bought another whiz-bang Internet Marketing product guaranteed to have ALL the answers.

"Life IS like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

The sucker punch of an experienced Internet Marketer is to set you up by exposing your fears and insecurities about your knowledge, your needs, your desires, your wants, etc. for that IM box of chocolates he or she is peddling today.

Then right after they set you up for the KO punch in their copywriting, they tell you their product is the greatest thing since sliced bread and will fulfill every wish you have, every need and want you admit, and if you buy their stuff your prayers are answered.

Frankly, Charlotte - about 99% of the time this is all hooey.

So the challenge of this whole box-of-chocolates-thing is determining with certainty exactly which box you need and the exact piece in that box of chocolates is the right one for YOU!

But what if many of the pieces ‘appear to be the same?'

The wise chocolate consumer will first be darned sure who he or she is listening to.  What is the motive of the speaker [pitch person]?  Why would this person want to help me?

This is in my opinion the most difficult part...

NetFluence was created on purpose from the ground up to help you build comprehensive and thorough authority sites that can dominate any niche in Internet Marketing.

Why?  How?

As far as the major search engines are concerned - they want to list and show relevant pages with real relevant content where their average surfer will find the Answer.

Then when the surfer arrives at your site, your content is current, relevant, truthful, thorough, applicable... so it really is the Answer.

This dear friend is the major challenge and issue when building websites.

Some IMmer guys will tell you that the 1- or 2-page sales letter where you smash people between the eyes with a smooth selling stone is the way to go.  Honestly, if you have access to other people's lists though a JV, this method can work.  If you're pretty good at this stuff you might convert 1% or so, and then just 99% of your efforts are wasted...

BUT - this will not typically work for organic SE traffic much of the time because the Goliaths like Google do not see your sales-only content [pitch] as being relevant with a good message-to-surfer match.

So if like the majority of website builders you want as much free [organic] traffic as you can get, instead of paying for your traffic you'd better start off with the right ideas and strategies, and you'd better execute darn well, too.

Probably 99% of people just don't do this though.

They find something that interested them, throw up some flimsy quick mini-site, and then sit there looking at fancy cars and houses they were promised, and just waiting for the money machine to start ringing like that IMmer guy who sold them this junk promised it would in his pitch.

Ain't gonna happen most of the time, Wally.

So when you open your IM box of chocolates [browser] and are overwhelmed by the choices - and not sure which piece[s]s to select - you'll be wise to only consider boxes coming from someone you can actually trust.

NetFluence, put plainly, is a Web 2.0-style website authoring system with all the bells and whistles you need.  It works.  That is proven.  And it's not too good to be true.

Is it perfect?  Nope.  What is?

Does it work?  Yep.  Try it for yourself and find out.

But be advised that it WILL take a little bit of effort on your part to use.  Get used to it.  Those IMmer-type guys want you to subscribe to their 'blind-leading-the-blind' philosophy.

Don't fall for it...

When Forest Gump said, "You never know what you're gonna get" - Forest of course had never seen NetFluence in action.

I recommend you do at http://www.netfluence.com/.  What do you honestly have to lose by taking a peek and deciding for yourself?

Let's find out... and see what you do...

The IM crowd hollers every day, "Follow us and fit in."

NetFluence says with confidence, "Follow us and stand out."

If you haven't learned it yet, you will.  Doing the same things everyone else is doing is a pretty sure failure bet on the Internet.

Choose that box of chocolates carefully...
